About The Role
This is a territory-based Account Manager position focused on growing revenue through a combination of existing account management and new business development. You will be selling a broad range of industrial products and solutions — including pumps, fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related motion control products — to customers across a variety of manufacturing and industrial end-markets.

You will be selling a broad range of industrial products and solutions — including pumps, fluid power, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related motion control products — to customers across a variety of manufacturing and industrial end-markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established territory by building strong relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new accounts
- Call on plant managers, maintenance teams, engineers, and procurement personnel
- Identify customer needs and present appropriate product and solution recommendations
- Partner with internal application engineers and vendor representatives to deliver the right solutions
- Develop and execute a territory plan to consistently hit and exceed sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and forecasting through CRM
- 3 years of outside sales or account management experience in industrial distribution or a related field
- Pump experience is required — familiarity with fluid power, hydraulics, or pneumatics is a strong plus
- Strong hunter mentality with the ability to open new accounts while retaining and growing existing business
- Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing a broad territory
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region
