About The Role
This is a field-based outside sales position responsible for managing and growing a territory through new business development and existing account management. You will be selling a portfolio of industrial products — including compressed air systems, vacuum, and related equipment — to end-users across manufacturing, production, and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a territory through prospecting, cold calling, and nurturing existing customer relationships
- Present and sell industrial equipment and solutions to plant managers, maintenance personnel, and engineering teams
- Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term accounts
- Work closely with internal teams on quoting, order management, and post-sale support
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate activity and pipeline reporting through CRM
- 3 years of outside sales experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or a related field
- Familiarity with compressed air, vacuum, pumps, or fluid power products is a strong plus
- Proven track record of new business development and territory growth
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the territory
