Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Build People is partnered with a respected General Contractor delivering high-profile commercial construction projects across South Florida. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work across sectors including commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, education, multifamily, and corporate interiors.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from inception to completion
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and field teams
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
• Monitor project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and procurement
• Ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Work closely with Superintendents to ensure successful project delivery
• Provide regular project reporting to senior leadership
  
  

Requirements

• 10 years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
• Experience managing commercial construction projects in South Florida
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and cost control
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-paced projects
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
