We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 years of experience in legal practice, and estate planning experience preferred to join our Richmond office.
This role offers the opportunity to deepen your experience in estate planning and administration while working alongside experienced attorneys who are invested in your development. You will be part of a team that values thoughtful client relationships, strong communication, and long-term success.
What You’ll Do
- Support attorneys in delivering comprehensive trust and estate planning services
- Prepare legal documents and assist with client signings
- Communicate directly with clients and support their long-term planning goals
- Participate in seminars and community education workshops
- Continue developing your skills within a structured, supportive environment
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Virginia Bar membership or pending admission
- Genuine interest in estate planning and client-focused legal work
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Willingness to grow, accept feedback, and pursue excellence
Preferred Software Familiarity
- Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel
- WealthDocs or similar drafting software
