About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled in handling a full range of family law matters—including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, domestic violence, adoption, and protective orders—and is confident representing clients in court. This position offers autonomy, a steady caseload, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake to resolution
- Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal advice
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and related filings
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Stay current on state and local family law regulations and case law
- Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management
- Maintain accurate timekeeping and billing records
- Build strong relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law
- Confident in courtroom advocacy and client representation
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service
- Ability to manage deadlines and balance multiple priorities
