Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales transactions accurately.
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items to enhance guest experience, and handle cash register operations smoothly.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and ensuring a tidy environment for guests.
- Manage food service customer orders efficiently using POS systems and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and operating kitchen equipment safely.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail sales math calculations.
- Prior retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial in understanding sales transactions and customer interactions.
- Food industry or restaurant experience will help you excel in this energetic environment!
