Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Prepare food items according to company standards while maintaining food safety and sanitation protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, kitchen stations, and food prep areas through bussing and sanitation practices
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or other menu offerings in a fast-paced environment
- Support team members by managing time effectively to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order totaling are essential
- Experience in food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude to serve diverse guests effectively
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior restaurant experience or background in the food industry will support your success in this position
