Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the dining area is inviting and organized
- Assist with food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders to customers
- Support inventory management through proper stock rotation and basic math calculations for food quantities
- Uphold health regulations by practicing proper sanitation procedures in the kitchen and dining areas
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in culinary arts or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
