REPORTS TO: I.T. Manager
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
FLSA STATUS: This is a full-time, hourly; non-exempt position
TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE (DAYS/HRS PER WEEK): TBD
JOB PURPOSE: To assist the I.T Manager in handling the information technology support needs for Buffalo Thunder Resort and Casino, Hilton Santa Fe Buffalo Thunder, Pojoaque Gaming, and Pueblo of Pojoaque Enterprises.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assists in business application management.
• Assists with coordinating information needs with other departments.
• Assists with ordering supplies, equipment, and software.
• Assists with planning for future needs for equipment and software.
• Tracks work orders for computer repair, preventative maintenance, and solution delivery.
• Assists with upgrading systems, updating the internal knowledge base, and creating system documentation.
• Assists with upgrading operating systems, application software and utility software.
• Support core casino management applications.
• Identifies problems with computer systems and initiates corrective action.
• Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
· Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Knowledge and skills in using computers and various programs such as Microsoft Office, Exchange electronic mail, database and spreadsheet applications, and Windows 10.
• Knowledge of information technology and security departmental standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of a casino management systems.
• Skill and knowledge in creating, analyzing, and correcting spreadsheets.
• Understanding of database applications.
• Knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and ability in determining software and hardware problems.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Google I.T. Support Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum (2) years’ experience in computer support.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Standing-15% /Walking-10% /Sitting-75%; Computer room setting/secluded and segregated.
• Casino and office setting.
• Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise.
• Exposure to electronic and computer equipment.
• Lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.
• Some travel required.
• Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
