IN-HOME SALES & DESIGN CONSULTANT — WINDOW TREATMENTS
Budget Blinds | Minneapolis, Minnesota
Help homeowners choose window treatments that fit their style, needs and budget. This hands-on sales role combines in-home consultations, product recommendations, accurate measurements and follow-through.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Home-based in the Minneapolis territory, with travel to customer appointments. This is not a fully remote sales role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand homeowners’ style, budget, privacy and light-control needs.
- Recommend blinds, shades, shutters, draperies and other available solutions.
- Present samples, measure accurately, prepare quotes and close sales.
- Follow up on proposals and maintain customer and order records.
- Coordinate with installation teams and keep customers informed.
- Build referrals through excellent customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Sales experience and strong listening, presentation, organization and follow-up skills. In-home sales experience is strongly preferred, especially in window treatments or other home-improvement products. Window-treatment experience is a major plus; relevant transferable sales experience is welcome. Comfort with measuring tools, quoting software and customer-management systems, and ability to travel throughout the local territory.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Approximately one month of paid training at $25 per hour.
- Commission-only compensation after training, with uncapped commissions.
- Estimated annual commission earnings of $75,000–$120,000, depending on sales performance. This is an earnings estimate, not a guaranteed salary.

- One week of paid vacation.
