Our yard plays a critical role in daily freight movement, reload coordination, and on-time service, and we are seeking an experienced Yard/Reload Manager to help keep operations running smoothly.

Position Summary
The Yard / Reload Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day yard and reload operations to ensure freight moves efficiently, safely, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role that coordinates trailers, freight, and personnel while working closely with drivers, dispatch, and operations staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard and reload operations including trailer positioning, dock coordination, and freight staging
• Supervise and direct yard and reload staff to ensure efficient workflow
• Coordinate reload activities to support LTL freight movement and on-time departures
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient yard environment
• Enforce company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, drivers, and operations staff to resolve issues and prioritize work
• Monitor trailer inventory and yard flow
• Perform basic inspections of yard equipment and report maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate records related to yard activity and reload operations

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in LTL trucking, yard operations, warehouse operations, or logistics
• Strong understanding of yard flow, trailer management, and reload processes
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate staff in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
• Forklift and or yard equipment experience preferred

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Combination of indoor and outdoor work
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the yard for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move freight as required
• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
