Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs and kitchen managers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Help with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Buss tables and clear dining areas efficiently during service hours to support smooth restaurant operations
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper sanitation practices and temperature controls
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and uphold the restaurant’s reputation for quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and safety standards
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and serve customers
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with banquet or hotel food service is a plus but not mandatory
