Tax Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL | Hybrid: Mon & Fri work from home, Tue-Thurs in the office
Our client is seeking a Tax Analyst to support its global tax function. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional coming out of a Big 4 firm who is looking to apply their technical tax foundation in a dynamic corporate environment. You will gain hands-on exposure across federal, state, and international tax while partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

Responsibilities
- Support U.S. federal income tax compliance and provision processes, including preparation and review of workpapers and calculations
- Assist with state and local tax filings, including income, franchise, and apportionment analysis
- Support international tax matters, including foreign compliance, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing coordination
- Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740
- Support tax audits and inquiries from federal, state, and foreign tax authorities
- Partner with finance, accounting, and external advisors to gather data and ensure accurate reporting
- Monitor tax law changes and assist in assessing impacts to the business
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation to support a scalable global tax function
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of tax experience, preferably from a Big 4 public accounting firm
- Experience across U.S. federal, state, and international tax
- Experience with a large multi-national company or client
- Strong understanding of corporate income tax fundamentals
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
