As a key contributor within the Tax Department, the International Tax Manager will help shape the organization’s global tax strategy while ensuring excellence in U.S. international tax compliance. This role offers the opportunity to work across complex cross‑border issues, support strategic business initiatives, and collaborate with market teams worldwide. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes and driving results.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain current knowledge of tax laws with a focus on U.S. international tax.
- Support transfer pricing compliance, including new intercompany transactions, advance pricing agreements, and global tax analyses.
- Analyze and document U.S. international tax implications of company transactions and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with market tax teams to address global tax issues and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of U.S. international tax returns (Forms 5471, 8858, related statements, elections, etc.) under a co‑sourcing model with a Big Four firm.
- Manage U.S. international tax calculations and related analyses for compliance and provision.
- Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen policies, controls, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of accounting, finance, or tax experience, including 1 year of lead experience; OR Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience and 1 year of lead experience; OR At least 8 years of accounting, finance, or tax experience with 1 year of lead experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on an unrestricted basis (no sponsorship available).
- Proven experience in U.S. international tax; transfer pricing experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated judgment in selecting methods and techniques to develop solutions.
- Ability to resolve complex issues, including those without clear precedent.
- Experience driving process improvements within a tax organization.
- Familiarity with tax research software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with Alteryx or data visualization tools is a plus.
Salary : $130,000 - $144,000
