Role Description
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and strategic intern to act as an assistant to our Chief Operating Officer. This role is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the daily operations, strategic decision-making, and leadership dynamics of a growing consumer goods company. You will help bridge the gap between high-level company goals and day-to-day execution.
Key responsibilities/tasks include:
- Executive Support: Act as the primary support to the COO for scheduling, communication, and organizing daily priorities to enhance efficiency.
- Strategic Projects: Assist in developing and executing brand strategy, market analyses, and long-term planning, including tracking performance metrics.
- Market & Competitor Intelligence: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor product launches, and consumer insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Operations & Logistics: Support day-to-day operations, which may include inventory tracking, supply chain updates, or customer experience coordination.
- Meeting Preparation: Draft agendas, prepare presentation materials, and record minutes for board and senior leadership meetings.
- Special Assignments: Execute ad-hoc, high-priority projects delegated by the COO, ranging from investor relations to new market feasibility studies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a master's program (Business, Management, or Finance preferred).
- Strong interest in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Ability to navigate Claude and knowledge of AI utility
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential company information.
