Responsibilities

- Assist with food handling, cooking, and food safety procedures to maintain sanitation and prevent contamination.
- Serve meals to residents or guests with courtesy, attention to individual dietary needs, and excellent customer service.
- Support the dietary department by cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, dining areas, and ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed.
- Buss tables, clear trays, and assist with general kitchen cleanliness to uphold a hygienic environment.
- Follow proper food production techniques while managing time effectively to meet meal schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all dietary needs are met efficiently and respectfully.
Skills
- Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to coordinate meal preparation and service smoothly.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety practices.
