Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory or behavioral health units
- Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care or wound management to prevent infection
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient-centered care across acute, sub-acute, outpatient, and inpatient settings
- Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate updates of medical records and charts using EMR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification required
- Prior experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU, trauma centers), nursing homes, hospice or home care is highly desirable
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner for patient documentation and medical records management
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma units requiring acute care skills
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient service are essential

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
