JOB DESCRIPTION:
BSI Paving is a well-established concrete and paving company seeking dedicated Asphalt Laborers to join our dynamic team. As an Asphalt Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful completion of asphalt paving projects. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of asphalt surfaces.
- Perform manual labor tasks, including shoveling, raking, and hand grading.
- Assist in the installation and repair of asphalt pavement.
- Operate hand tools and equipment under the guidance of experienced crew members.
- Load and unload materials, such as asphalt, gravel, and other supplies.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the paving crew to achieve project goals.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in construction or asphalt paving is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced crew members.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
