Cook Responsibilities:
- Meal Preparation: Follows standardized recipes. Prepare everything on the menu for your shift and prep food for the next shift.
- Meal Cooking: Cook and prepare meals. Must be able to read recipes/meal tickets to ensure proper distribution. Maintain proper portion control.
- Cleaning: Maintain a clean kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.
- Food Storage: Ensures food and other items are stocked and stored properly.
- Resident Interaction: Be polite and helpful to residents, responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience is preferred but we are willing to train.
- Ability to pass a TB Test, Drug Test and Healthcare background check.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours as needed.
- Ability to get to and from work reliably when scheduled.
