What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Events Associate position at JACKPOT JUNCTION CASINO HOTEL?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Work with the Special Events team to convert and prepare the venue for events including, but not limited to, special event functions, national entertainment, promotional drawings and trade shows.
- Set up and take down chairs, tables, staging, pipe-and-drape and other event-related items and equipment (requires frequent heavy lifting).
- Assist during events with ticket taking and ushering.
- Respond to radio requests for setup, removal or repairs.
- Operate applicable equipment and machinery (e.g. forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
- Clean and maintain event spaces, equipment and machinery.
- Communicate all concerns to the Sales & Catering Manager in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working in Special Events or a related field preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license.

Salary : $20 - $40
