Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing functions under the direct supervision of a registered and licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Positioning patients for nuclear medicine exams, the aide is also responsible for preparing exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Must possess outstanding customer service skills and be flexible to accommodate volumes.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be enrolled in an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with an anticipated completion date as outlined in the Nuclear Medicine program.
- Must be currently enrolled and in good academic standing in Amarillo College Nuclear Medicine Program
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
