Responsibilities
Responsible for the direct and indirect patient care duties assigned to them, following the policies and procedures of the institution. The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech will assist with patient care, including but not limited to the following: Scrubbing, circulating, and documenting diagnostic and interventional heart caths, diagnostic and interventional peripheral, PFO, ASD, TAVR and EKOS, Impella, TEE, Cardioversion, IVC filter, periocardiocentesis, IABP, CardioMEMS, Temporary pacemakers, Valvuloplasty procedures.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
Current License as RT in the State of Texas.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous cath lab experience.
- Patient care.
