Responsibilities
- The Clinical Coordinator provides administrative, clerical, and coordination support to a patient care unit within a hospital setting.
- This role facilitates communication among healthcare team members, supports patient flow, and ensures accurate documentation, contributing to efficient and safe patient care delivery.
- This is a non-licensed position and does not perform direct clinical care.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Certification as a PCT (Certified Care Technician) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)
