Assistant Manager of Unit

Brunswick Hospital Center Is seeking unit based managers and assistant managers, responsible for administrative assignments, hands-on, coaching techniques implementing validated the therapeutic implementation models within a unit based shift and population within the acute inpatient psychiatric setting

The incumbent will pair under the direction of the unit manager and compassing, scheduling staffing, coaching assignment, budgeting for the given unit with work controls, budgeted allocations, but most of all a keen sense of commitment to the mental health population, and they commitment to detail oriented. focus on trauma informed care and positive patient outcomes and experiences 

This will be done by becoming the lead example and manager for the psychiatric behavioral health aids assigned to unit based performance initiatives

The desired person will have five or more years, acute inpatient behavioral health experience

Experience in training of trauma informed care principles, PMCS, TRUST Or equivalent knowledge, but willing to train pass an implement TRUST 

Experience and scheduling, conflict resolution must have excellent communication skills

Keen sense of detail 

This role will encompass the above tasks at a shift basis reporting to the unit manager

The individual that is desired for this opportunity would have demonstrated 3 to 5 years, acute behavioral health inpatient experience

And associate degree in related field or equivalent, validated experience

Must have excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, skills, and commitment to quality inpatient care and trauma informed sensitivity towards our unique population

This role is an administrative management role working collaboratively with a treatment team at the unique inpatient level. We are seeking seven individuals per shift for this opportunity. All shifts are available.

The salary range for the assistant unit manager is 47K-60k Based on shift and experience
