Brunswick County is currently accepting applications for a Utilities Warehouse Supervisor to join our Public Utilities Department. Under limited supervision, the Warehouse Supervisor performs specialized skilled work related to the purchasing of goods and supplies to support utility operations, including: Acquiring and administering contract services.Inventory maintenance.Supervising warehouse activities and warehouse personnel.Building maintenance proposal requests.Providing technical services and support related to procurement needs for water and sewer system operation.Work will require the Warehouse Supervisor to communicate effectively with other County departments, shippers, vendors, manufacturers, and other material providers. The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Utilities Purchasing Manager and will provide back up to the Purchasing Manager as needed. This position is considered an ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEE POSITION under County Policies.
