Position Overview:
 Operate machines to shape or process metal products. This includes punching, pressing, bending, crimping, notching, or straightening metal parts according to specifications.

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or equivalent preferred

·         Basic mechanical aptitude

·         Comfortable using measuring tools (calipers, rulers, gauges)

Essential Duties:

·         Set up and operate machinery following instructions

·         Monitor machines to ensure proper operation

·         Measure and inspect finished parts for quality

·         Perform basic machine adjustments and maintenance

·         Maintain a clean, safe work area

·         Follow all safety procedures and wear required protective gear

Work Environment:

·         Industrial manufacturing setting

·         Hot and noisy conditions; temperatures may exceed 100°F

·         Regular standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs

·         Use of safety equipment including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
