What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager position at Brunch?
Kitchen Manager/Head Chef needed for a very busy Downtown Brunch Restaurant. Head chef will be helping with scheduling, food costs, inventory and weekly ordering. Great hours, full time, partial benefits. Amazing work environment with room to grow with the company. Will be working side by side with another kitchen manager. Saturday and Sunday a must.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budgetary guidelines.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health codes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in kitchen management.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food service.
- Expertise in menu planning with an emphasis on creativity and seasonal ingredients.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
