What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Designer position at Brown & Root?

Position Details:

. Designer will utilize 2D and 3D design tools to produce drawings

. Will create P&IDs and PFDs

. Produce loop diagrams, schematics, layouts and instrument location plans for plant systems

. Will utilize instrument lists and spec/data sheets in design effort

. Will participate in planning, scheduling and cost estimation on projects

Requirements:

Qualifications:

. (7 ) years' experience, EPC environment preferred

. Experience in installation of distribution control systems, programmable logic controller, industrial measurement and control instrumentation, associated wiring

. Experience working onsite within plant environment

. Experience in creating instrument plans, loop diagrams and installation details utilizing piping drawings, civil drawings and P&IDs

. Basic knowledge of electronics, motor control and relay logic

. Proficient using AutoCAD

. Must be able to lift and carry up to (25) lbs.

. Must be physically able to perform field work
