In search of sales oriented individual to help grow our territory in the water and coffee business in the Natchez/LA area. Do you enjoy talking to people and have the drive to increase sales? This position also trains on existing routes to delivery and service our current customers.
Job Summary: Water Sales and Delivery position is responsible for selling Exell water and drink products and delivering products to both residential and commercial customers. Water delivery for established route and selling of products to accounts both existing and non-existing. Responsible for customer inventory, upselling products, prospecting new accounts, and providing excellent customer service. Most of the compensation is attributable to sales performance.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
- Prepare the truck each day with enough products to service and sell including bottled water, case drinks, cups, case water and coolers.
- Service every customer on the route each day by leaving one or more of the following: product, invoice, and/or door hanger.
- Upsell extra products: cups, case drinks, new flavors, new equipment, etc.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customer decision-maker/contacts.
- Prospecting for new accounts including products for water, filtration, tea, and office coffee.
- Some locations will load and unload truck daily, using forklift and/or pallet jack, as well as unload and load water delivery trailer that is kept on site.
- Continue to market and sell products to existing and new customers.
- Ability to operate ordering and tracking electronic devices.
- Runs route/service calls profitably and efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy of daily invoices and payments collected from customers using the electronic tracking system.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintains assigned vehicle(s). Keeps clean and identifies maintenance/safety issues.
- Daily upload of paperwork for the day (including any money collected).
- Investigates and resolves customer problems.
- Attend and participate in assigned sales training and sales meetings.
Physical Demands:
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Drive a vehicle and enter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the shift.

- Valid driver’s license and approved driving record.
- Obtain a Class D license upon hire.
- Sales experience in retail or outside sales a plus.
- Ability to operate ordering and tracking electronic devices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
