We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Manager to direct our daily warehousing, receiving, and distribution operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy in inventory, ensuring staff safety, implementing operational procedures, and maximizing productivity in our Vending company warehouse. This position is scheduled to work Sunday-Thursday, 8am-until
- Motivating, coaching, and encouraging teamwork within the team to ensure set productivity targets are met safely.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized warehouse.
- Training staff and monitoring their performance and progress.
- Communicating with other departments and managers.
- Overseeing product control and processing orders.
- Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
- Overseeing the accuracy and timely filling of shipping orders so trucks leave on time daily.
- Responding to and dealing with internal customer communication by email and telephone.
- Producing reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Briefing team leaders on the issues and goals.
- Overseeing the planned maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and a high sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. consistently and 60 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
Work is performed in an office setting and in uncontrolled temperature warehouse environment.
Qualifications:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 3 years of management experience.
- Proven team leadership to drive performance and build a goal-oriented culture.
- Process oriented with experience in process improvement and change management.
- Ability to create reports in Excel and analyze data to drive performance metrics.
- Detail-oriented and have a high sense of urgency and exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic with ability to work extended hours during critical times.
