Broussard Knoll Law Firm, a premier Louisiana personal injury firm, is seeking experienced Paralegals to join our legal team. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who understands the demands of a fast-paced litigation environment and takes pride in keeping cases organized, accurate and moving forward.
The right person will have a strong understanding of litigation processes, exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. You will play an important role in supporting our attorneys, managing case-related responsibilities and helping ensure filings, demands, discovery responses and other work products meet Broussard Knoll's standards for accuracy, quality and timeliness.
For candidates with significant experience and demonstrated leadership ability, there may also be an opportunity to take on additional senior-level responsibilities, including quality control, file auditing, workflow improvement and mentorship of other members of the paralegal team.
What You Will Do
- Support attorneys throughout the litigation process
- Assist with case management, discovery and trial preparation
- Prepare, organize and maintain case files and legal documents
- Assist with filings, demands and discovery responses
- Track case milestones, deadlines and other critical dates
- Communicate with clients and assist with case-related needs
- Help ensure work product is accurate, complete and consistent with firm standards
- Support complex personal injury matters, including catastrophic injury and multi-party litigation
- Follow firm protocols for client communication, document management and case handling
- For more experienced candidates, assist with file auditing, workflow improvement, quality control and mentorship of other team members
What We Are Looking For
- Experience as a paralegal, preferably in a litigation environment
- Louisiana personal injury experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of litigation processes and case management
- Familiarity with Louisiana e-filing systems
- Proficiency with Dropbox and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach to getting work done
- Paralegal education or certification preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus for candidates interested in additional senior-level responsibilities
