Position Summary
As the Leasing Manager, you will oversee leasing activities and support occupancy growth by delivering an exceptional prospect and resident experience. You will play a key role in driving traffic, converting leads, maximizing renewals, and supporting resident retention initiatives.
This role requires a motivated professional with strong sales ability, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead leasing efforts to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
- Tour prospective residents and professionally close leases
- Follow up with prospects through phone, email, and CRM systems to convert leads into residents
- Process applications, screenings, lease agreements, renewals, and resident files accurately
- Manage lease renewals and resident retention efforts
- Deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents
- Maintain model apartments, amenities, curb appeal, and tour paths to company standards
- Assist with outreach marketing, resident events, and social media engagement
- Monitor leasing traffic, conversion metrics, and reporting in property management software
- Respond to resident and prospect inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and operational procedures
- Collaborate with onsite team members to support overall community success
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous apartment leasing experience required
- Strong sales, leasing, and closing skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Saturday availability required
Preferred
- Experience with Entrata or similar property management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with social media marketing, online lead generation, or resident engagement platforms
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk apartment communities and tour grounds regularly
- Ability to climb stairs as needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
