Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and overseeding to promote healthy turf growth.
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and mulching beds to enhance visual appeal.
- Operate hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, aerators) safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects.
- Be able and willing to do seasonal snow removal
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and making necessary repairs to ensure optimal watering schedules.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on landscaping equipment and tools to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Support tree care activities like trimming, pruning, or planting to foster healthy growth and safety standards.
- Assist with gardening tasks such as soil preparation, planting new greenery, and seasonal clean-up efforts.
Experience
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Mechanical knowledge related to lawn care equipment, power tools, or irrigation systems is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with landscaping techniques and horticulture practices will help you excel in this role.
