Directly supervises a field crew performing various landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, weeding, pruning, and seasonal clean-up for residential and/or commercial sites. Snow removal work is available during the off season.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of the crew and public as work is being done.
- Ensuring the work done by the crew is done efficiently, meeting budgeted time constraints
- Ensuring the work done by the crew is done professionally, meeting the high standards of Lindgren Landscape and our clients.
- Ensure crew’s proper use of all equipment.
- Always represent the company’s best interest and maintain the highest level of integrity.
- Report regularly to supervisor.
- Dress, speak, and act as a professional.
- Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. or more
- Ability to work in various temperature and weather extremes
- Proficient in the safe operation of landscape maintenance equipment
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- Must have good problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must have character and integrity
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
- Knowledge of and ability to detect common landscape challenges including inadequate water use, insect and disease problems
- Thorough knowledge of proper landscape care regarding water and fertilizer requirements of plants and turf
- Advanced turf care background
- Landscape industry certifications
- Horticulture background
- Experience with basic sprinkler system maintenance
- Experience in snow removal operations
