Brooks' BBQ is hiring Catering Associates who are friendly, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy serving guests. Ideally, you are someone who shares same passion for food, and loves the idea of providing guests with quality customer service experience. Previous experience in customer service or similar roles is always an advantage, although not required.
To excel in this role, you should be passionate about customer service and thrives in a fast-paced working environment. Being able to work irregular hours over the week, and over weekends and public holidays when needed is a requirement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for stocking ingredients from delivery area to work area, walk-in cooler, and storage.
- In charge of food preparation.
- Follow daily cleaning schedule
- Work and communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
- Respond to questions, concerns, and complaints from customers, vendors, or clients.
- Escalate any problems or complaints to the relevant supervisor or manager.
- Prioritize important tasks and manage your time effectively.
- Man and operate equipment relative to your role.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
Qualities We Wish to See:
- Good communication Skills
- Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate on phone and in person
Requirements:
- Friendly, reliable, and punctual.
- Strong communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for long periods.
- Ability to work irregular hours (day and night shifts).

- At least 18 years of age

In 1965, the Brooks family built the present restaurant. In 1975, Griffin and Frances sold the restaurant to their son John and his wife Joan. In 2005 John and Joan sold the restaurant to their son Ryan and his wife Beth.
