The position of Confidential Administrative Assistant to the Office of Teaching & Learning, which is excluded from the Independent Brockton Administrative Assistants and Technical Employees Association, is being advertised.
Qualifications:
Proven ability to handle confidential data in an appropriate manner
Advanced Microsoft office skills, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
Knowledge of grants and budget management
Thorough knowledge of the operations of MUNIS, Frontline, and Infinite Campus
Ability to communicate in a courteous, efficient, professional manner
Ability to plan, organize, and follow through on complex duties
Ability to prioritize tasks and develop work plans to complete tasks in a timely manner
Possession of strong organizational, oral and written communications skills
Ability to support and enhance the operations of the department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The chief administrative assistant to the Office of Teaching & Learning
Oversee tasks associated with the operations of the office
Respond to all school-based and central office administrators by phone, e-mail, fax, or in writing as directed
Maintain the Assistant Superintendent’s schedule/calendar; set up meetings as directed
Reserve conference room locations for all scheduled meetings
Field phone calls from parents, vendors, and employees
Act and measure the level of urgency in notifying the Assistant Superintendent of all situations
Prepare monthly reports as required; compile office attendance records; and the daily maintenance of the Absence Management Attendance System
Fill in for other confidential administrative assistants when needed
Troubleshoot and investigate issues directed to the Assistant Superintendent upon request
Assist in the coordination of school and district/department professional development allocations; provide direct support for key tasks in Power School Perform, the district’s educator evaluation system
Monitor expenditures (school, district, and department) in MUNIS under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning
Monitor and secure contracts and letters of agreement with vendors
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning
Compensation - $65,000 - $85,000
