Fiber Construction Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly organized Construction Coordinator with strong Excel skills (V-Lookups), the ability to pivot quickly, and experience supporting fiber construction projects. This role involves coordinating OSP/ISP work, managing pole and conduit licensing, and supporting permitting, vendors, and project workflows across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Support Construction Managers/Project Managers on fiber construction tasks and kick-off meetings.
• Use PowerBI and Excel to analyze project data and summarize workflow needs.
• Attend customer and transportation authority meetings as a construction subject matter contact.
• Assist with site surveys, contractor safety checks, and construction closeouts.
• Manage pole transfers, vendor coordination, POs, invoicing, and updates in NJUNS/SPANS.
• Clear conflicts and support permitting with PADOT, DELDOT, NJDOT, and other jurisdictions.
• Help create pole maps, work orders, and change management tickets for relocation projects.
• Review As-Builts, maintain accurate tracking records, and identify issues impacting timelines or costs.
• Coordinate with utilities and contractors; escalate corrective actions when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years in telecom/wireless, preferably with OSP and ISP fiber construction exposure.
• Strong Excel (V-Lookups), organization, and adaptability.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $41.00 per hour
