TITLE: MHHS Data and Assessment Coordinator (Part-time Teacher Leader Stipend Position)JOB GOAL: The Data and Assessment Coordinator works with school and district administration and teacher leaders. This position provides guidance and support in the effective use of achievement data to inform instruction and intervention to support all students in achieving and exceeding grade level standards. This includes but is not limited to the management, analysis, and presentation of state assessment and accountability data (RICAS, PSAT, SAT, NGSA) and other relevant data sources at the department and school level to inform school and departmental goals for the School Improvement and the MTSS process. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Rhode Island certification as a secondary teacher.Five years of successful secondary teaching experience.
Expertise in data use and analysis of state and local assessmentAny exceptions to the above as may be acceptable to the SuperintendentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience as a coach or teacher leaderDemonstrated success in working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, students and families.Experience facilitating small and whole group professional learning.Excellent oral and written communication skills and technology use. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate the delivery and analysis of district and state assessments.Collaborate with school and district leaders and staff to Identify areas of program improvement and support/monitor progress of improvement areas.Collaborate with the Principal and School Leadership team.Facilitate and support team professional learning.Serve as a member of the school leadership team.Perform other related work as required by the Principal.TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2 Year Appointment 2026-27, 2027-28Schedule to be determined by the School Principal in collaboration with the Assistant Superintendent. Will receive two additional administrative periods per day and complete an estimated 60 hours per year for hours required beyond the contractual day to be submitted on time sheet. Compensation $6,000 per year for successful completion of job responsibilities.
Stipend will be paid in 2 installments December/June. EVALUATION: Annual, based on above job responsibilities. REPORTS TO: Building Principal, Assistant Superintendent
