Job Summary
Brisbane School District seeks a Middle School Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Under the direction of the site principal, the Middle School Math Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to students in grades 7–8. The teacher will design and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons that promote conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning. This role supports student growth in alignment with the California Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and fosters a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Placement on the salary schedule is subject to determination by the Superintendent and will be based on the candidate's verified educational qualifications and professional experience. Official transcripts must be provided to substantiate the candidate’s placement on the salary schedule. The salary range stated above reflects compensation for full-time, year-long teaching assignments and will be adjusted on a prorated basis in accordance with the start date of employment and FTE.
The final candidate will be required to undergo fingerprinting at the district's expense, as mandated by California law. Additionally, prior to the commencement of employment, the candidate must present recent documentation confirming freedom from active tuberculosis.
