- Assume administrative authority for supervising and directing the maintenance department.
- Develop and implement repair and maintenance schedules for the facility and grounds.
- Supervise and coordinate repair and maintenance contractors to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Maintain the appearance and safety of the facility, ensuring accessibility for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Previous experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is required.
- Knowledge of Department of Health Surveys and ability to develop Plans of Correction.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Mastery-level technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural maintenance.
- Ability to make independent decisions and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and government agencies.
- Commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light weights as necessary.
- Requires manual dexterity for fine grasping and manipulation.
