Brimstone Bakery is looking for an experienced part-time baker to join our team in Sharon Springs. We’re a scratch bakery committed to quality, creativity, and consistency. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their craft, works efficiently in a team environment, and brings a positive, solution-oriented attitude to the kitchen. Candidates must have at least one year of professional bakery experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Roll, knead, cut, and shape dough for a variety of baked goods including cookies, tarts, pie crusts, and sweet rolls
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times, adjusting as needed
- Ice, glaze, and decorate products with attention to detail and consistency
- Maintain inventory and prep lists, communicating needs proactively
- Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment to meet health and safety standards
Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in a professional baking environment
- Cake decorating experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, efficient, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen
- Passion for baking and a willingness to learn and grow
