What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Bakery Suzanne?
We are a small team of bakers looking to add to our team.
A little bit about you...
- you care about food and love to eat
- you're flexible and willing to do what needs to be done
- looking to learn everyday
- you're available for early morning bake shifts (4am, at leasts twice a week)
Experience in the following areas is preferred but not required:
- laminating and shaping pastry
- working with sourdough bread
- working in a professional kitchen (doing prep, cooking on the line)
About the job: We're a small team so we're constantly moving between bread and pastry: From milling flour to shaping loaves or shaping croissants and managing the morning bake. As we grow, there will be opportunities to progress and take on more responsibility. Depending on your experience, you may start out with a focus in bread or pastry.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
