Job Title: Part-Time Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Oak Brook, IL
Pay Range: $24/HR–$26/HR
Schedule: 25–30 hours per week; flexible schedule

Brilliant Staffing is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Clerk for an established recreational facility located in Oak Brook, IL. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an initial 3–4 month contract period and the potential for permanent employment.

The ideal candidate will have prior accounting or accounts receivable experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. This position is fully onsite and offers flexibility to work 3–5 days per week.

Part-Time Accounts Receivable Clerk Responsibilities:

• Process and post payments, including checks, credit cards, and electronic payments.
• Assist with daily sales and transaction reconciliations.
• Review account activity and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly member billing, charges, credits, and statements.
• Verify transactions and assist with bank deposit reconciliations.
• Respond to member inquiries regarding payments and account balances.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with accounting reports and month-end processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate posting of charges and payments.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1 years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
