Senior AI Engineer / Generative AI Engineer – Vectorization & RAG

Location: Lafayette, Louisiana

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer / Generative AI Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and enterprise AI application development.

Candidates must have strong practical experience in the following three core technologies:

✅ Vector Databases — MUST HAVE

✅ Vectorization — MUST HAVE

✅ Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) — MUST HAVE

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience building Generative AI and LLM-based applications
• End-to-end RAG pipeline design, development, and implementation
• Vector databases, vectorization, text embeddings, and semantic search
• Advanced Python programming
• Knowledge Graphs and Graph RAG solutions
• LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or equivalent frameworks
• Neo4j or other graph database technologies
• NLP, transformer models, and information retrieval techniques
• Integration of LLMs with enterprise data sources
• Deployment of AI solutions in cloud environments
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of overall experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Vector Databases, Vectorization, and RAG is mandatory
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills
