About the Role
The VP of Finance leads all core financial operations, including planning, accounting, treasury, and risk management, while elevating the organization’s ability to make informed, timely decisions. This leader will play a critical role in scaling the business, optimizing performance, and implementing systems and processes that support sustainable growth.
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and Executive Team on financial performance, business strategy, and growth opportunities
- Develop and execute long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Provide forward-looking insights on market trends, cost structures, and investment priorities
- Support strategic planning, capital allocation, and enterprise decision-making
Financial Operations & Performance
- Lead all aspects of finance, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and insurance
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and transparency in financial reporting
- Strengthen financial systems, controls, and operational efficiency
Business Partnership
- Partner cross-functionally to evaluate business initiatives, improve profitability, and manage costs
- Deliver actionable insights to support operational leaders and improve decision-making
- Lead financial modeling and analysis for investments, partnerships, and growth initiatives
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track and drive results
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness
- Identify enterprise risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Support governance processes and communication with senior stakeholders
Leadership & Team Development
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance organization
- Mentor and develop finance leaders, fostering a strong leadership pipeline

Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance and accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- CPA or CMA strongly preferred
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred or relevant public accounting experience
- Experience leading financial operations, planning, and strategic initiatives at a senior level
- Background in manufacturing and combination of automotive OEM & tier one
- Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive business outcomes
- Strong experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
