Role Description The Clinical Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Largo, FL, responsible for overseeing and coordinating clinical services for homecare and staffing clients. This role includes organizing patient care activities, collaborating with caregivers and clinical staff, and ensuring that care plans are implemented accurately and updated as needs change. The Clinical Coordinator will communicate regularly with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to address concerns, provide status updates, and promote high-quality, compassionate care. Daily tasks involve monitoring clinical documentation, supporting compliance with regulatory and company standards, assisting with staff scheduling and orientation, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. The role also contributes to clinical education, supports evidence-based practice, and helps maintain efficient workflows that uphold BrightStar Care’s service standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in Patient Care and Medicine, with experience coordinating or providing clinical services in homecare, acute care, or similar settings.
- Candidates should possess Research and analytical skills to support evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and accurate clinical documentation.
- Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the state of Florida is required.
- Experience in home health, hospice, or clinical coordination within a healthcare staffing or homecare environment is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain detailed records, and use electronic health record or scheduling systems effectively.
- Reliable on-site availability in Largo, FL and commitment to upholding ethical, person-centered, and culturally sensitive care standards.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel throughout Pinellas county for client home visits.
