What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver (CNA - HHA - PCA) - $15-$17 / hr - Flexible Schedules position at BrightStar Care?
Now hiring caregivers in Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach!
The following would be required for employment:
- PCA Certification - HHA certification - CNA license in the State of Virginia (NO DSP)
- Current TB test (in the last year)
- Current CPR
- Driver’s License **Preferred** (we have many clients that need transportation)
- Auto insurance
- Must be able to pass a statewide background check (no barrier crimes)
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug screen
Our shifts vary on a case-by-case basis.
As a PCA, HHA, or CNA, you will provide quality care by promoting a safe environment, adhering to the plan of care, and ensuring we respect and adhere to our client’s rights. Duties may include the following:
- Hygiene Care
- Nutrition
- Health Monitoring
- Mobility and Exercise
- Transportation
- Documentation
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
