Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Contractor. The Occupational Therapist will work closely with patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
Requirements
- Ability to commute to patients home
- Ability to commute to cases in the general area of Hollywood, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Weston, and Miami Gardens
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- AHCA Level 2 Background check. https://info.flclearinghouse.com
- Valid state licensure or certification as required by local regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in home health environments.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- A commitment to providing high-quality care that promotes patient independence and well-being.
- Availability to work weekends and short notice as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' functional abilities in daily living activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies to improve daily functioning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Timely documenting visits.
