Are you a compassionate and experienced Home Health Aide who takes pride in helping others live safely and comfortably at home? BrightStar Care is looking for a dependable HHA/Caregiver to provide personalized care and companionship to a client living with Parkinson's disease.

Schedule & Compensation
Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Shift Length: 8 hours of scheduled care
Pay: $23-$25 per hour
Additional Earnings: On-call opportunities with a $50-$100 stipend per shift, when assigned
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Assist with sit-to-stand transfers, mobility, and safe movement throughout the home.
Offer companionship and supervision to promote the client's comfort and well-being.
Accompany the client to lunch, appointments, and other activities as needed.
Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Observe and report changes in the client's condition to the care team.
Follow the individualized care plan and maintain client privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of caregiving, home care, assisted living, or direct care experience preferred.
Previous experience caring for clients with Parkinson's disease is a plus.
HHA, STNA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant training preferred.
Current CPR certification and negative TB test or chest X-ray, in accordance with agency requirements.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
Ability to assist with client mobility and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds as required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Commitment to following care plans, agency policies, and HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
Required immunization records or approved exemptions, as applicable.
