What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Sales Manager position at Brightpath Associates LLC?
- Set the sales direction and drive sales growth for the branch by defining sales goals per customer industry and product line while managing the sales process for all customers and potential customers for the branch.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis for both sales made, and sales lost and work with branch team to improve overall customer sales experience. Our goal is to build lasting partnerships – understand what drives this and set the expectation in place to ensure that it happens.
- Manage inventory and operational expenses to the levels appropriate to the branch sales and potential sales through company process.
- Maintain a strong hold on healthy accounts receivables for all branch customers – after all, you aren’t caring for the customer relationship if their account is put on hold and you aren’t caring for the company’s success if the customer doesn’t pay for services completed.
- Coach and train customer service representatives in the inside sales process and potential management. Coach and train drivers to understanding the key role they play in the customer service group – the more competent and developed your team is, the more successful the branch.
- Proactively work with other branches, the plant, administration and the executive team to ensure a high level of information and knowledge flow throughout the organization.
Key Competencies:
The role requires a strong ability to lead, communicate and drive sales and process efficiency while maintaining the various aspects of day-to-day operations. This manager should be able to develop new processes as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
3 years’ experience managing in an industrial distribution setting - required
3 years’ experience working in the atmospheric gas distribution industry - preferred
